Position - Amusement Park Worker: actual position will be assigned based on park’s needs upon arrival. Position could be: Foods, Ride Operations, Retail, Park Services, or Aquatics. All positions will require
cleaning, standing for the duration of your shift, working outdoors – in all weather conditions and excellent customer service skills.

Housing and Transportation

Overview of housing situation - located in apartment style housing units, there will be 2 people per bedroom with a shared living space
Housing Fees - housing rent per week is $150
Additional Housing Fees - a housing deposit of $100 is due prior to arrival. 
Housing Deposit Refund Policy - your deposit is eligible for refund upon successful program completion (must honor original DS End Date), damage inspection and positive rental obligation standing.

Employment Conditions

Advanced English skills for interacting with customers, must pass Discovery & Department training upon arrival to be offered a job
The first three weeks of employment will consist of a training period. During this time, hours may be reduced until you are immersed in your full-time schedule. Hours and schedule will vary each week – some weeks will be more than 35 hours; some will be less than 35 hours. You must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday), evenings, holidays and weekdays. Must understand seasonal industry, shifts may be shortened as needed due to guest attendance, weather, and other factors. This will be determined by your department & park management and impacts all employees alike.

Uniform – you will purchase a Six Flags polo shirt upon arrival, additional items are available for
purchase, please bring non-slip sneakers – 90% white or black, no visible tattoos or facial piercings, must have hair well groomed – no long hair for males and must be clean shaven
Social Security Number - approximately seven days after you check into the program on MyUWT.com, you will apply for a Social Security Card. You will be able to work before you receive your card, but you must provide a receipt to HR to prove you have applied.
